Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actor and writer, is well-known for her character Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in the 1960s. Her acting career began as a stage performer in the 1950s beginning at the age of Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. She then acted in a variety of Broadway productions before she became a star on national stage with Li'l Abner in 1957. In 1957, she made her debut album called It's time for Tina. Louise started the first phase of her Hollywood career in 1958 as she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a dramatic film. The film was a massive commercial success and Louise won an award called the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York during that time, becoming Lee Strasberg's teacher. The actress joined CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her professional life from Broadway television and Hollywood acting in more dark roles, as opposed to her perception of being an glamor girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. Stargate: SG-1 Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. However, in recent years she's been making a mark as a director of various popular TV shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. The family she was born into moved away from Essex to Toronto, where she spent both her teenage and adult years. When she was chosen to play the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She has lived there from then on.
